THIS IS NOT NORMAL is an instrumental-themed project from Lonegevity, released May 12th, 2026.
Musically, this project utilized chords from custom-designed synths on every record, had no samples except for a few vocal pieces and drum programming I plucked away and reorganized, and attempts to create a fusion of multiple influences while keeping the integrity and continuity of the sound. That’s all a fancy way of saying I made a bunch of records and tried to make them sound like they make sense together.
Thematically, US propaganda has plagued citizens of the United States of America for far too long into believing the lie of American exceptionalism. It has been normalized, but it is not normal outside of the tinted lens of white supremacy. What we are witnessing on a daily basis in 2026 should no longer be normalized, even though it is very much what defines the lives of far too many.

I’m a creative connoisseur with a focus on music, Hip Hop culture and music, education, continual learning, and am a graduate of Purdue University.
